J and J Gym Floors… North Carolina vs New Jersey?
This blog post is just to help out the folks who are looking for the other J and J Gym Floors company, which is located in North Carolina. We get a lot of people reaching out to us thinking that we’re them…
And we’re sure they’re great people…
but we’re just different companies.
It happens.
Have you ever had that moment when you’re scrolling through your phone, half-awake, and suddenly realize you’ve been liking photos on your ex’s Instagram instead of your current partner’s?
No? Just me?
Well, buckle up, because we’re about to dive into a similar case of mistaken identity that’s been causing quite a stir in the world of gym flooring.
The names are both “J and J Gym Floors”, but which one is it?
Picture this: You’re a dedicated school administrator, on the hunt for the perfect gym floor for your students. You type “J and J Gym Floors” into your search bar, feeling pretty confident about your detective skills. But wait! What’s this? Two companies pop up, both looking like the J and J Gym Floors you’re looking for.
It’s cool. We’re here to help.

Well, isn’t this a pickle? It’s like showing up to a party in the same outfit as someone else, except instead of embarrassment, it’s causing genuine confusion for our dear customers.
The curious case of the other company
Now, before we go any further, let’s get one thing straight: We’re not here to throw shade at our Wilmington namesake. For all we know, they could be the Beyoncé of gym floors in North Carolina. But just like you wouldn’t want to book Jay-Z for your daughter’s ballet recital accidentally, we don’t want you to end up with the wrong J and J for your gym floor needs.
A tale of two websites
Let’s take a closer look at this curious case of corporate coincidence. If you’re scratching your head wondering which J and J is which, you’re not alone. It’s like trying to tell apart the Olsen twins – possible, but requires some keen observation.
Our website, the one you’re probably looking for if you’re in the Northeast, is https://gymfloors.com/. It’s sleek, it’s informative, and it’s chock-full of everything you need to know about gym floors. Plus, we have a pretty awesome blog (if we do say so ourselves).
The other J and J? They’re hanging out at https://jandjfloors.com/. A fine website, I’m sure, but about as useful to you as a screen door on a submarine if you’re looking for gym flooring in New Jersey.
Why the mix-up matters
Now, you might be thinking, “What’s the big deal? A gym floor is a gym floor, right?” Oh, sweet summer child. Let me tell you why this mix-up matters more than you might think.
Location, location, location
First things first, we’re talking about two companies in completely different parts of the country. We’re proudly based in New Jersey, serving the Northeast region with the kind of dedication usually reserved for Bruce Springsteen fans. Our North Carolina namesake, on the other hand, is doing their thing down in Wilmington.
If you’re a school in New Jersey looking for a gym floor, and you accidentally reach out to the Wilmington J and J, you’re going to end up more confused than a chameleon in a bag of Skittles.
Expertise and experience
Here’s where things get really interesting. Our J & J Gym Floors isn’t just any old flooring company. We’re talking about a family business with roots deeper than the maple trees we use for our hardwood gym floors.
| Service Category | Specific Services |
|---|---|
| Installation | New gym floor installation, Hardwood gym floors, Rubber gym floors |
| Maintenance | Screening and recoating, Sanding and refinishing |
| Repair | Gym floor repair services, Water damage repair |
| Customization | Gym floor design, Marking, striping, lines, and decals |
| Specialty Flooring | Dance studio flooring, Indoor turf, Roller rink floors |

Our expertise spans everything from elementary school gyms to college sports facilities, and even professional NBA arenas. We’ve seen more gym floors than a basketball ref with insomnia.
The bottom line: There’s only one J & J Gym Floors for you
Look, we get it. In a world where you can accidentally like your ex’s vacation photos from three years ago with an errant thumb swipe, it’s easy to mix up two companies with the same name. But when it comes to your gym floor, you don’t want any mistakes.
If you’re in the Northeast and you’re looking for top-notch gym flooring services, from installation to repair to maintenance, there’s only one J & J Gym Floors you need to know about. And spoiler alert: it’s us.
So the next time you’re Googling “J and J Gym Floors” and you see two results pop up, just remember: if you’re north of the Mason-Dixon line, we’re your guys. Unless, of course, you’re really craving some North Carolina barbecue with your gym floor. In that case, we can’t help you (but we hear Wilmington is lovely this time of year).
