From Summit and Cranford to Elizabeth and Plainfield, Union County districts and community organizations have trusted us with their gym floors for years.
Working in Union County, NJ
Union County has several mid-size districts with more than one gym: an elementary gym, a middle school gym and a high school competition floor. We help facilities managers put those floors on a rotation, so each one gets a recoat every year and a full sanding only when it really needs it.
Community organizations and colleges run their floors almost every day of the year. For those we plan short, well-timed recoats so the floor is back in use quickly.
We also do line changes when a gym adds a sport, and repair dead spots and damaged boards before they become a bigger problem.

Planning a budget? Our gym floor refinishing cost guide explains what drives the price.
How long the gym is out of use: a dustless screen and recoat is the quick option between sandings. A full sand and refinish takes 8 to 10 working days plus about a week for the finish to cure, and our sanders catch about 98% of the dust.
We keep up with MFMA standards and use MFMA-approved finishes and MFMA-certified vendor products. We stand behind our work and our reputation proves it.

Frequently asked questions
We have several gyms. Can you set up a schedule?
Yes. We can put every gym in your district on a yearly recoat plan and flag the ones that need a full sanding soon.
What is the difference between a recoat and a sanding?
A screen and recoat lightly buffs the existing finish and adds a fresh coat. A full sanding takes the floor to bare wood, then we repaint the lines and apply new seal and finish.
Can you add pickleball lines to our gym?
Yes. We paint lines for any sport and can do it as part of a recoat or a full refinish.
