Some of our longest relationships are in Somerset County. We have taken care of The Pingry School’s gyms since we replaced both of its gym floors and its wall pads in 2019, and we have recoated Immaculata High School’s floor every year since we fully sanded and refinished it in 2020.
Working in Somerset County, NJ
Those two schools show the kind of work we do most here. At Pingry we tore out both gym floors and installed new maple floors and wall pads, then kept recoating, repainting lines and repairing floors on more than one campus. At Immaculata we refinished the gym, then came back every summer to recoat it, fixed a dead spot, and painted volleyball lines.
Many Somerset County districts run several gyms each. A yearly recoat on every floor, with full sanding only when needed, is the cheapest way to keep them all in good shape.

Planning a budget? Our gym floor refinishing cost guide explains what drives the price.
How long the gym is out of use: a dustless screen and recoat is the quick option between sandings. A full sand and refinish takes 8 to 10 working days plus about a week for the finish to cure, and our sanders catch about 98% of the dust.
We keep up with MFMA standards and use MFMA-approved finishes and MFMA-certified vendor products. We stand behind our work and our reputation proves it.
