In 2025 J & J Gym Floors replaced the high school gym floor with a new maple floor and installed new wall pads for the Bangor Area School District in Bangor, Pennsylvania, then resurfaced the middle school gym floor and installed wall pads there too.

The high school gym

The district hired us to replace the high school gym floor and its wall pads. The new maple floor has gray stained keys, a center-court Slaters logo and a painted border. The job was finished in June 2025.

The middle school

The same summer we resurfaced the middle school gym floor, including staining, and installed new wall pads. Earlier in 2025 we also supplied and installed padding for the middle school’s de-escalation room.

One contractor, several spaces

Doing the high school, the middle school and the padding with one contractor meant one point of contact for the district and one schedule for the summer.
